"Just Bead It!
Instead of buying a souvenir
T-shirt to remember your trip, create something you'll actually
wear, like a pendant necklace or a silver bracelet. These 10
bead shops host private parties that make for a great afternoon
or evening out-just be sure to reserve in advance." |

SHOPPING TIP
OF THE DAY
The bead goes on
To riff on the Gloved One, just bead it. At Beadworks, you can
select your beads, design a pattern, and make your own earrings,
necklaces, and bracelets. Glass, silver, crystal, enamel,
and wooden beads come in a variety of colors, and most are pretty
inexpensive, ranging from 5 cents to $2.
Findings (wires, clasps, etc.)
cost anywhere between 5 cents and $5.
