Boston Bead Company is the perfect place to host your next party or special event. Each party is two-hours long and includes use of our work space and tools, and expert instruction from one of our friendly and experienced instructors. We have developed In-Store parties for Kids, Teens and Ladies. If you have a large group of youngsters to host, we recommend our "Party-To-Go" Kits.

Beading At Home or On the Go

Boston Bead Company "Party-To-Go" Kits are a wonderful alternative for large parties, at-home parties or on-the-go vacation activities. Our Beading Kits come with materials for a strung necklace and bracelet in a choice of four colors; pink, blue, green and metallic black. Each kit also comes with a cute enamel charm.

We also offer a Hostess Kit with expert instructions, party ideas and a set of tools. Available for purchase in store or online. Project Kits may be purchased individually. 

Boston Bead Company "Party-To-Go" Kits

Our "Party-To-Go" Kits come in a choice of four colors, with beads and stringing materials for a strung necklace and bracelet and one sweet enamel charm. We recommend one kit per child.

Boston Bead Company Hostess Kit

Party-To-GoTM Hostess Kits include wire cutters, flat nose pliers, small beading mats, expert instructions and bead party ideas. Each kit is packaged in a reusable beading tote. We recommend one Hostess Kit per 8 children.
Cost: $25.00 per kit (includes MA sales tax)

If you call or vist one of our stores we will ask you for some basic information, including the dates you are interested in for your party, the type of party you would like to host, an approximate number of guests and your daytime contact information. This information will be passed on to our Party Manager.

Our Party Manager will then contact you by phone to answer your questions, work with you to design your party, make your reservation and take your non-refundable party fee by credit card. Our Party Manager will contact you Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm.

PLEASE NOTE: The sales staff in our shops do not have access to the party reservation calendar and can not confirm any reservation by phone or in person. Our Party Manager will contact you to make your reservation and answer all of your questions. If you have questions not answered on this page please E-mail us.

• We accept reservations for parties with seven-days advance notice only. We are not able to accept last minute reservations due to staff scheduling.
• We charge a non-refundable party fee at the time of reservation.
• The party fee covers the use of the work space and tools on the party date and the undivided attention of one of our expert instructors.
• All party reservations are accepted on a first-paid first-served basis.
• All party reservations are a Final Sale. Once a party is reserved there is NO REFUND of the Party Fee.
• A materials fee is charged three days prior to the party date. The materials fee includes either children's beading kits or gift cards depending on the age of the guests.
• All parties are for a minimum of six guests and a maximum of eight guests in Cambridge and 12 guests in Salem.
• Parties for children under 12 must be chaperoned by one, but no more that two adults. Our workspace is small and cannot accommodate additional guests, parents, siblings or family members.
• Cake or cupcakes and juice or soda are encouraged for children's parties. We discourage pizza, ice cream, pop-corn or other snacks.
• Adults may bring refreshments, including adult beverages.
• We are happy to recommend local establishments for meals or snacks after your party.
